Hello everyone! Welcome, welcome!

Things are happening here at Country Canvas Studio and we would like to share some of that with you and also ask for some insights from you.

We have big plans for Country Canvas Studio today and into the future. We are working hard to build a solid foundation for our success and for the success of those we meet along this journey. We aspire to foster and encourage the desire for creativity and the exploration of self-expression through art. We hope to provide the groundwork and an understanding of art to instill in you the confidence needed to release the creative and artistic spirit that resides in each of you. Many things are on the horizon, but baby steps first right?

We have taken many steps in the last month to move us closer to our ultimate goal. First, our website is up and running. Second, we set up our online Emporium. Third, we are working to develop a fun, informative and engaging newsletter.

Beginning in January we will release our newsletter, ‘Studio Shenanigans’. We envision engaging and interesting topics being shared and we plan to add in some local charm with feature stories about local artisans and how they do what they do and what lead them to that path. There are so many creative people in our world. We hope to shine a light on some of them and on their works. We would like to offer some educational tidbits, some DIY tutorials, helpful tips and just an overall uplifting and creative aura from the newsletter.

This will be our first of a monthly newsletter. We are looking for topic ideas, local artisans to interview and what you all would like to see or learn about over the coming year. Is there a particular type of art or craft that you would like covered or that you would like more information on?
